UNVEILING CURTAIN

Hear the fading echoes...

The screams of toils

Of sweats, like blood

Constantly, consistently, consequentially

Dripping on our soil

Of pains and struggles

From dusk till dawn

Dawning on our dusk

And dusking on our dawn.

Hear the fading echoes

Speaking of value and worth

Of a crippled giant

He broke his legs

With his hands and

Broke his hands

With his brain

Hear the fading echoes

The crinkling and cranking

Search of papers of ornament boxes

Of a fading-green economy

Trying to wear a fitting smile

Like a damsel

Dressing to attract more suitors

O woeful debtor

In the midst of this fading echoes

Daniels and Nehemiahs choruses

Restore oh rebuild the walls

There is hope for a tree

If it be cut down

At the scent of water

It will sprout again

The tender branch will not cease

Listen to the emerging echoes

Of hopes so close so near

The sound of rain

Oh drying soil listen

we are not there yet but

Listen to the drawing

Of the unveiling curtain

Overthrowing dimness

With hopes of brighter rays
